Selfless Senior Spotlight: Kim Nguyen

Meet Kim Nguyen, the 2022 Selfless Senior of Del Norte High School.

“I’ve never had many opportunities to give back to the community as much as I wanted to, but always strive to give all I can when helping with food insecurities. I am Kim Nguyen from Del Norte High School. I became an acting mom to my little brothers early on and hope they carry on the empathy and love I have for our community. Being an Asian-American immigrant, I’m overjoyed to be welcomed with such open arms. With these factors in mind, I never thought I could earn the honor of Selfless Senior. I feel an immense urge to continue giving back to the community ten times as much as before.”
