Selfless Senior Spotlight: Karla Garcia

Meet Karla Garcia, the 2022 Selfless Senior of Highland High School.

“Hello, my name is Karla Garcia from Highland High School and it is an honor to be given the recognition of Selfless Senior. Throughout my life, I’ve learned to cherish the happiness of my family, friends, and my own. The world can be a place of hurt and loneliness, even for the kindest of people. Having to face that side of the world myself, has allowed me to understand how difficult it is to come back from that all on your own. If I can be the person that listens and eases others’ pain, I will; the happiness of loved ones is worth more than anything in the world.”
