Selfless Senior Spotlight: Claire Larson

Meet Claire Larson, the 2022 Selfless Senior of Sandia High School.

"Hi! My name is Claire Larson and I am a senior at Sandia High School. I have found volunteering is something that brings me joy. I regularly volunteer for Roadrunner Food Bank, COVID-19 vaccination clinics, and have organized a drive for the Barrett Foundation. I have met people whose commitment to volunteering has ranged from court-ordered hours to joining the Peace Corps; it has shown me that any effort put toward serving my community makes a difference. This year I’m happy to be back at school in-person and volunteer at the Balloon Fiesta, cook meals for Ronald McDonald House, and raise money to pay for AP exam fees.”
