Foundation Earns National Recognition for Transparency

The APS Education Foundation illustrates responsive fiscal management, full accountability, and transparency.

The APS Education Foundation is proud to announce it has earned a 2022 Platinum Seal of Transparency by Candid/Guidestar, the world's largest source of nonprofit data. 

The Platinum Seal of Transparency demonstrates that APSEF is a nonprofit focused on measuring progress and results to provide current and potential funders with accurate and detailed information.

The seal is only awarded to charities illustrating the highest level of responsive fiscal management and commitment to full accountability and transparency.

"Our Board of Directors and staff work tirelessly to maintain a transparent and efficient organization while ensuring the highest possible portion of the APSEF's budget is funding innovative programs ensuring students reach their full potential," said Executive Director Shannon Barnhill. "We are honored to accept this recognition."
