Paul Davis Restoration of NM Teacher Scholarship
The Paul Davis Restoration of NM Teacher Scholarship provides financial support to APS teachers who need reimbursement for the loss of personal teaching supplies that might have been damaged/destroyed by water, mold or other unexpected perils in the classroom.
About the Scholarship
Our goal is to help teachers replenish what personal supplies teachers may have lost in their classroom due to damage or destruction.
APS Teachers may apply up to $250 towards helping students who have worked hard to reach this honor. The scholarship(s) will be awarded throughout the school year on an as-needed basis.
Funding Request Requirements:
Funding requests should be accompanied with a:
- Please make sure that APS Risk Management receives your property loss prior to submitting your request.
- Download the RIsk Management Property Loss Report (PDF); and/or
- Photos of damaged items and/or receipts for items lost.

Eligible Applicants
The scholarship(s) will be given teachers who:
- work for APS traditional and magnet schools; and
- lost personal teaching supplies in the classroom due to damage or destruction caused by water, mold or other unexpected perils.
- Funding requests are awarded to the school on behalf of the teacher, and not directly to the teacher.
Funding Criteria
- Funding requests must be for lost personal teaching supplies in the classroom due to damage or destruction caused by water, mold or other unexpected perils.
- Items lost due to theft are not eligible for funding.
