Translation and Interpretation Services
The Translation and Interpretation Services provides services for schools to facilitate communication with non-English speaking parents. Translation and Interpretation Services can assist you with any language needs in support of students and families.
Interpretation Services
We provide remote interpretation services in any language. Submit your request online or by email. Be sure to include the meeting link, password/PIN, and phone number.
Translation Services
We translate any newsletter, flyer, and announcement into any language. Our turnaround for Spanish translation is usually 1 to 2 days. Email us with any questions at translate@aps.edu.
How to Request Interpretation Services
Submit your request for Interpretation Services online or by email. Be sure to include the meeting link, password/PIN, and phone number.

- Download the Interpretation Request Form (PDF): download the form, fill it out, and email the completed form to translate@aps.edu.

About Interpretation Services
We secure interpreters for essential school or district functions or events that parents attend concerning their children including:
- Meetings with the nurse, social worker, counselor
- Parent-teacher conferences, Home Visits, any time you need to contact a parent
- IEP/MET/SAT meetings, etc.
Upon request, our interpreters attend (remotely) school and district events in order to assist with communication between school staff and parents or community members. Learn more about Interpretation Services.

About Translation Services
We provide translation services for essential district, school and student information including letters, newsletters, announcements, forms, surveys, etc.

Note: Our office does not translate documents related to an IEP, MET, SAT, FBA, or BIP. Please refer to the Special Education Department regarding the translation of those documents.
