Hall of Honor

About the APS Hall of Honor

A committee of district employees and outside community members will name at least three recipients – with one being a teacher who has spent at least 15 years in the classroom.

Previous honorees include classroom teachers, principals, innovative department heads, a member of the district’s police department, and of course, John Milne, who headed the district for decades in the 20th century.

Stylized portraits of the honorees hang near the entrance of APS headquarters at City Center. A recognition lunch will be scheduled in the fall of 2025 to honor the recipients.
