A Message from Dr. Richard Bowman

As Chief Information & Strategy Officer for Albuquerque Public Schools, I take responsibility and pleasure in continuously serving our students and families.

I am passionate about education and my vision for the district includes equity, opportunity, technology, and constant improvement of our schools, our teachers, our staff — all to provide our students with the tools necessary to succeed in our world today and tomorrow, as competent, caring and educated citizens.

My several departments collaborate on a daily basis, always with APS students as our guiding beacon. The skills and values we provide our children today are indicative of how our society will function tomorrow. Their future is in our hands.
