Connecting Your Students to Work-Based Learning Experiences

Types of work-based learning gets you started in understanding the many avenues to pursue for your students in the area of work-based learning.

Another fun tool to engage students is through the Why I Work exercise.  It allows students to change budget items to meet their salary expectations and lifestyle spending projections.

Another Great professional development evening  is being offered by the Hispanic Cultural Center. This is a free event for educators.

Día de los Muertos

Spend a lively evening exploring Día de los Muertos celebrations, arts, and history at the National Hispanic Cultural Center. Take back hands-on activities for your students that will give them a better understanding of this important cultural holiday.
