Career Technical Education and Career Connected Learning Partner with United Ways to Bring Career Exploration to APS Middle Schools
On May 20, 2025, the Career Technical Education (CTE) and Career Connected Learning (CCL) department partnered with United Ways to bring career exploration to Hayes Middle School.

On May 20, 2025, the Career Technical Education (CTE) and Career Connected Learning (CCL) department partnered with United Ways to host another successful Middle School Career Exploration Event, this time at Hayes Middle School.
Eighth-grade students were given the opportunity to interact with and learn from employers from a wide range of industries from across New Mexico, from advanced manufacturing to cosmetology.
These career exploration opportunities and events are all part of Albuquerque Public Schools' ongoing initiative to integrate college and career readiness into all APS schools.
