What is Career Choice? Career Choice is an education benefit that empowers eligible employees to learn new skills for career success at Amazon or elsewhere. Who’s eligible? Hourly full-time (40+ hours a week), reduced time (30+ hours a week), and part-time (20-29 hours a week) employees are eligible to participate in the program after 90 days of continuous employment. Note: English language courses and coaching services are available for enrollment starting on Day 1 of employment. How much is covered? Amazon pre-pays tuition and reimburses for books, and fees within an annual limit of $5,250 for full-time employees, and $2,625 for part-time employees. What programs are included? We offer a wide variety of programs including English language, GED/High School completion, indemand job training, and College degrees. Do you offer Career Coaching? Starting on Day One, you can meet with a career coach for free. Our coaches can assist with career goals, choosing an academic program, or with crafting your resume. How do I apply? Visit Career Choice on A to Z to sign in and apply. How do I decide which program to sign up for? If you need help deciding which track or program to sign up for, speak to one of our free career coaches. Our coaches will help you define your career goals, and create a roadmap to achieve them! How can I schedule accommodations? Finding the right balance between work, life, and school can be difficult. Reach out to your local HR to help support you in scheduling work accommodations.
