Foundations for Career Success
We are excited to announce the availability of the CareerSafe Employability Skills Library! This resource covers essential employment skills, helping students prepare for the workforce and gain a competitive edge in the job market. The CareerSafe Employability Skills certification simplifies the process for teachers to enroll students in Employment Skill Training courses that best match a student's individual needs and interests.
The Employability Skill certification is now available at 10 APS Near-Peer Tutoring locations (listed below). These certifications allow student Near-Peer Tutors to gain credentials in areas such as Written Communication, Communication Skills, Human Resource Management, Time Management, Cybersecurity Essential For Work, Teamwork, Workplace Financial Management, Personal Financial Management, Interview Skills, Materials Management, and Critical Thinking. With these certifications, students will have a significant advantage when navigating the job market.
