Introducing AAFCS - Family & Consumer Sciences - The people-centered sciences

AAFCS elevates the profession by inspiring research, leadership, and service to empower individuals, families and communities. It is a field of study focused on the science and the art of living and working well in our complex world.


Association members:

  • Human/child development and human relations
  • Personal and family finance
  • Textiles, apparel, and retailing
Sustainable practices, consumerism, and leadership principles are woven throughout the content areas.
