United Ways is searching for teachers in counties Valencia, Bernalillo, Torrance, Sandoval, and Santa Fe to attend the Summer Teacher Academy!  Join them on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, for a FREE in-person event to help you recharge and get ready to start the next school year off with a BANG! This training academy brings local employers to present workshops for teachers on topics related to the skills they look for when hiring. Presentations will be geared toward secondary education levels, but all grade levels are welcome!

You will:

• Receive a $100 stipend for attending!

• Learn from employers!

• Participate in hands-on activities!

• Breakfast & lunch included

Time: 8:00AM to 2:30PM

• Breakfast and check-in: 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM
