Seeking Volunteers to Share Their Career Story with New Mexico Students
Pathway2Careers is searching for local volunteers to share their career stories with New Mexico students.
Help us inspire New Mexico students!
Do you, or someone you know, have a meaningful career story as a New Mexican with a disability? Pathway2Careers (P2C) invites you to be a part of an exciting new initiative! P2C is creating a powerful playlist of Career Story Videos, featuring real-life journeys to inspire students across New Mexico as they explore their future. Your story could help motivate the next generation of workers to dream big and pursue their goals with confidence!
Who are we looking for?
New Mexicans with a disability (cognitive or physical) that are willing to share their personal stories about how they found their jobs or careers. Self-nominations or recommendations are welcomed!
When filming will happen?
P2C hopes to record (in-person) as many stories as possible during the following dates and times (interviews will be 15-20 minutes or less):
- Monday, June 23 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. @ The Element at 2340 Louisiana Blvd NE
- Tuesday, June 24 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. @ Berna Facio Professional Development Center at 3315 Louisiana Blvd NE
- Tuesday, June 24 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.@ The Element at 2340 Louisiana Blvd NE
- Wednesday, June 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. @ Berna Facio Professional Development Center at 3315 Louisiana Blvd NE
- Wednesday, June 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.@ The Element at 2340 Louisiana Blvd NE
