High-Quality, Equity-Driven Instruction for Every Student IF a common and agreed-upon set of supports around high-quality Tier 1 instruction is deployed for all schools, THEN we will realize an equitable and accessible learning environment for all students that can be measured over time. APS will align the work of schools & departments & create a system of high-quality accountability for instruction, social, emotional, and physical health & safety.
Equity and Access for All Students and Staff IF we work to remove roadblocks and communicate that making change is safe and benefits students, THEN we will disrupt the status quo and encourage positive change and trajectory. APS will provide equitable access and opportunity in a safe and supportive environment that addresses the individual needs of students.
Social and Emotional Learning IF the district has a clear vision around the social and emotional health of staff and students in APS & if staff is held accountable for the execution of the vision, THEN APS will have a district-wide standardized tool to assess and measure social emotional learning. APS will provide equitable access and opportunity in a safe and supportive environment that addresses the individual needs of students.
Effective and Efficient Operations IF we have consistent and predictable systems to support the mission of the district and provide essential services to staff and students, THEN students will have the support they need from staff in a safe and welcoming learning environment that will lead to success. APS will operate consistent and predictable systems to provide services essential to the mission of supporting our students.
Staff and Community Engagement IF we make our district feel welcoming and we clearly communicate our story, THEN public perception will improve. APS will improve all modes of communications to better inform & engage the Albuquerque community invested in public education.
