IH6 Graduation Requirements

Graduation requirements shall be established in accordance with federal and state statutes and regulations.  

Albuquerque Public Schools shall require students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”) for graduation to ensure all students have access to financial aid opportunities for post-secondary education.

Albuquerque Public Schools recognizes the bilingual seal as an official seal for an Albuquerque Public Schools diploma that shall be awarded to a student who has met all instructional program components as approved by the Board of Education, and requirements outlined in state statute and regulation. District-required courses may be waived with the permission of the superintendent when it can be verified that waiving the requirement is in the best interests of the student.
