JL2 Student Protection - July 2024 Revision

The following board policies have been archived. Most have been replaced by the corresponding administrative procedural directive.

Albuquerque Public Schools shall protect the safety and welfare of all students.  Outside law enforcement that are not specifically assigned to the school, shall request permission to access a school campus from the principal and Albuquerque Public Schools Police Department prior to entering a campus unless there is an emergency.  Immigration officials shall not be permitted on school campus at any time.  Agencies shall be escorted while on a school campus, including law enforcement and social services.  The superintendent shall implement administrative procedural directive(s) to protect all students while they are on campus.
