Albuquerque Public Schools shall comply with all state and federally mandated student assessments.  Superintendent shall report on the progress made with schools annually and the strategies Albuquerque Public Schools uses to support those schools.  Albuquerque Public Schools shall provide rigorous academic program for all students.  Albuquerque Public Schools may adopt an alternative system for evaluating schools if it more clearly indicates school performance than the state mandated system.

Albuquerque Public Schools shall periodically report to families the academic progress of their students.  Schools are encouraged to use electronic grade books that are made available to parents and students.
