The superintendent, or his/her designee, may establish guidelines for distance learning opportunities, a process used to provide instruction for credit when the student and primary instructor are not necessarily physically present at the same time and/or place. Albuquerque Public Schools shall ensure that students enrolled in a distance learning program shall have necessary access to technology for all classes or activities.
Albuquerque Public Schools shall ensure distance learning programs are certified and accredited, fully align with all New Mexico Content Standards and Instructional Scopes, prepare students for all graduation requirements established by the district, and demonstrate academic progress for participating students equivalent to their peers participating in in-person learning, as measured by state assessments.
