I.01B Distance Learning Policy - October 2010 Revision

The Board of Education strives to provide a high quality education for all students that uses and develops 21st Century teaching and learning skills. The Superintendent or the Superintendent’s designee is authorized to establish distance learning, a process used to provide instruction for credit when the student and primary instructor are not necessarily physically present at the same time and/or place. The district will assure that students enrolled in a distance learning program have the necessary access to technology for all classes or activities. The administration is directed to implement this policy with a procedural directive.
