young people in economic development.
Job Description: Adjunct Evening Teacher We are seeking dynamic and passionate adjunct
teachers to join our evening program. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering
engaging, project-based instruction to students. You will collaborate with other educators to
create an inclusive and supportive learning environment, ensuring that all students receive
personalized attention and guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
● Deliver evening instruction aligned with Siembra's project-based learning model.
● Support students' intellectual, social, and emotional development.
● Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement cross-disciplinary projects.
● Provide personalized feedback and support to students.
● Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement.
Required Skills
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree or higher.
● New Mexico secondary teaching license.
● Ability to pass a background check.
● Commitment to student-centered education and social justice principles.
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience teaching in an evening program or non-traditional setting.
● Special Education license, Math endorsement, TESOL endorsement.
● Bilingual/bicultural skills.
● Experience with project-based learning.
