High School Head of School

Native American Community Academy is currently seeking to fill their open High School Head of School position.

Job Overview

The High School Head of School is the lead administrator for our High School campus. The
Head of School is the instructional leader that works collaboratively with staff to ensure NACA
is continuing to offer high quality instruction, partnered with culturally relevant pedagogy, to
engage our students on their educational journey.

Required Skills

• Level III New Mexico Teaching License and 5 or more years teaching in a K-12 setting.
• NM State Administrator License or willingness to obtain.
• Strong personal commitment to Indigenous education, diversity, equity, and
inclusiveness.
• Experience in administrative leadership experience in a K-12 setting.
• Experience implementing Indigenous education philosophy and curriculum.
• Demonstrated experience with strategic planning and program evaluation.
• Background knowledge of the fiscal and operating needs of a school.
• Proven results coaching and developing teachers.
• Experience working with children, families, and communities in school vision.
