Business Support Specialist

Native American Community Academy is currently seeking to fill their open Business Support Specialist position.

Job Overview

Overview:
The Business Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the financial, human resources, and
business operations of the school. This position ensures effective and efficient performance in
alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Job Goals:
• To assist the Executive Director, Governing Council, Governing Council Committees, Business
Management and school department heads in the overall management and organization of the
business office to ensure the effective and efficient operation of that department.
• Contribute to the efficient performance of financial, administrative, and HR functions, ensuring
compliance with state and federal regulations.

Required Skills

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or Management or
similar preferred.
• New Mexico Business Official Licensure (NOT required if there is a separate licensed business
manager)
• Chief Procurement Officer Licensure (Required to obtain within 6 months of employment)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial management and accounting software. Experience
with APTA Fund accounting software.
