October Employees of the Month

Jaclyn Bogue, Esperanza Ruiz-Sanchez, Larry Summerville, and Ricardo Zarate, were named Employees of the Month.

Jaclyn Bogue, the principal at Sierra Vista Elementary School, was nominated by several co-workers who described her as an amazing administrator who has been very supportive of staff, students, and families, especially during the pandemic.  Jaclyn was also described as a hands-on and visible principal who epitomizes leadership.

Esperanza Ruiz-Sanchez, a school scheduling coordinator for Student Information Systems, was described as a hard worker who always goes above and beyond in everything she does and is completely selfless.  Esperanza was also described as someone who works thoroughly and tirelessly to make sure all users are supported.

Larry Summerville, a custodian at La Cueva High School, was described as someone who takes pride in his work and always has a smile on his face. Larry was nominated for going out of his way to greet everyone he sees and emitting positive vibes wherever he goes. Larry has become an integral part of school culture. 

Ricardo Zarate, an educational assistant at Carlos Rey Elementary School, was nominated for his exceptional work ethic, his passion for helping children, and for his high level of responsibility. During remote learning, he helped students and families with technical issues and went above and beyond to make sure parents were able to connect their students to class, including working with parents after hours to help them resolve issues.

Congratulations on being named employees of the month, Jaclyn, Esperanza, Larry, and Ricardo!  Thank you for all you do!
