APS National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists
Twenty-eight Albuquerque Public Schools high school seniors were recognized for being named semifinalists in the 2021 National Merit Scholarship Program.
The twenty-eight National Merit Scholarship semifinalists attend Albuquerque High School, Del Norte High School, College and Career High School, Early College Academy, Eldorado High School, La Cueva High School, and Volcano Vista High School. To qualify as a semifinalist, students earned top scores on the 2019 preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test they took last fall as juniors. The semifinalists represent less than one percent of high school seniors. Congratulations to these outstanding students!
