Administrator of the Year

Angela Rodriguez was named an Albuquerque Public Schools Principals Association Administrator of the Year by New Mexico Coalition of Educational Leaders (NMCEL).

Ms. Rodriguez was the principal of Washington Middle School and the president of the Albuquerque Public Schools Principals Association (APSPA). Throughout her 24 years as an educator with APS, she has served as a classroom teacher, at the district level as an administrator for the Department of Special Education, as an assistant principal, and a principal. Ms. Rodriguez is passionate, highly skilled in school and organizational leadership, and school transformation. Since the receipt of the award, Ms. Rodriguez started a new job as the APS director of Language Proficiency and Assessment.  Congratulations, Ms. Rodriguez on being named Administrator of the Year and on your new position in APS!
