Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce

The mission of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce is to improve the quality of life in the Hispanic community by promoting economic and educational opportunities with an emphasis on small business.

Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance (AREA, formerly AED)

AREA is a private, non-profit membership organization whose mission is committed to the economic prosperity of the greater Albuquerque region and job growth. AREA serves as an umbrella organization to promote investment in Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and Valencia counties and actively recruits companies that export goods or services from New Mexico.

Superintendent Business Advisory Council (SBAC)

This informal business group is a sounding board and advocate for APS.

Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council (SuperSAC)

The superintendent meets monthly with representatives from Albuquerque Public Schools high schools and schools of choice to garner student input on issues and district policy. Board members are invited on a rotating basis.
