Custom HTML Elements

Adding custom HTML to your site allows you to embed widgets, videos, etc. Only webmasters have the ability to add custom HTML to pages on the website. To do so:

  1. Log in to School Loop
  2. Navigate to the page you want the HTML element on
  3. Click the green plus icon to add an element
  4. Select Custom HTML
  5. Paste your HTML into to the text box
  6. Click Save & Exit

Adding HTML to Teacher Sites

If a teacher wants a custom HTML element embedded on their site, they'll need a webmaster do it for them. Here's how to add a custom HTML element on teacher site:

  1. Log in to School Loop
  2. Click on Webmaster Center in the Toolbox
  3. Under Navigation Manager, click on Faculty/Staff Sites
  4. Scroll through the sites and select the site you wish to add HTML to
  5. Click the green plus icon to add an element
  6. Select Custom HTML
  7. Paste the HTML into to the text box
  8. Click Save & Exit

Note: School Loop doesn't get rid of previously created sites for accounts that have been deleted, so there may be duplicate teacher links on the list. Be cautious when selecting to make sure it is the current site and not a duplicate.
