15 Schools Chosen for Phase Two of School Website Migrations

As you might have heard, the Web Team has completed Phase One of the School Loop migration project, and have moved in to Phase Two.

Phase Two Schools

Here are the schools that will get migrated in Phase Two:

  • Albuquerque High, which is looking forward to more interactivity between its site and other APS websites.
  • Atrisco Elementary, which doesn't have a website at all.
  • Bandelier Elementary, which is paying too much for classroom websites, and wants a way to display district news and events more easily.
  • Dolores Gonzales Elementary, where a group of parents is hard at work, gathering material to make the site a useful parent portal.
  • Eisenhower Middle, where they're paying way too much for their school website.
  • Grant Middle, which has already outgrown its free Google Site.
  • Highland High, which is having a hard time updating its current site.
  • John Baker Elementary, which is paying too much for its current website.
  • Juvenile Detention Center, which is paying too much for its current website.
  • La Luz Elementary, where they don't have a website at all.
  • Lavaland Elementary, which is enthusiastic to get a new site -- any new site!
  • MacArthur Elementary, which is excited to get a tool that will allow its teachers to have classroom websites.
  • nex+Gen High, the district's high-tech high school, which is eager to be an early-adopter.
  • Wilson Middle, which doesn't have a website at all.
  • Zuni Elementary, the district's technology magnet elementary, which is eager to be an early-adopter.

Waiting List Schools

In addition to the Phase One and Phase Two schools, 51 other schools have applied to be early adopters and are on our waiting list.
