This training is for department staff who will be responsible for maintaining APS department websites in Plone -- the tool running the district and department websites.

Please check with your supervisor before signing up for training. We'll need permission from them (or your department director) before granting you access to maintain your department site.

Training

Plone training consists of a ½ day hands-on training that covers:

  • The APS district website and what visitors are looking for on www.aps.edu
  • Information about writing for the web and communicating online
  • How to create and edit content in Plone

You will have your own learning lab computer for the training and will leave training with the confidence and knowledge to edit your department's website. Once you've completed the training, you will be granted access to edit your department website.

Please email Aaron Jaramillo for more information about Plone training.
