Having Trouble?
Don't fret. Folders can be tricky.
You can get help from the Web Team by filling out our help form.
Adding a Folder
Folders can be added to the main area of your site or to other folders.
- Click on the homepage of your site or navigate to the folder you want to add your new folder to.
- From the Add New dropdown menu, choose Folder.

- Give your folder a Title (this will display in your site navigation).

- Click Save.
You will be taken to the default screen of your new folder. From here you can submit your folder for approval or add new pages (or both!).
Setting Default Pages
Once you've added pages to your folder, you'll want to set a page as the default view that visitors will see when they click on the folder in the navigation.
To set a page as the default view for your folder:
- Click on your folder in the navigation.
- Under the Display dropdown, choose Select a Content Item as Default View.

- Select the page you want to use from the list of items in the folder.

- Click Save.
Changing a Folder's Default Page
- Click on your folder in the navigation.
- Under the Display dropdown, choose Change Content Item as Default View.

- Select the page you want to use as your new default page.

- Click Save.
Deleting Folders
If you want to permanently delete a folder from your live website:
- Click on the folder in the navigation.
- Choose Submit for Deletion from the State dropdown.

- Your page will be submitted to the Web Team to be reviewed and deleted. You can see the item has been submitted by the Pending Deletion state status (read more about item states).

- You will be contacted by a member of the Web Team when your folder has been deleted, or with any questions they might have about your request.
You can withdraw a submission for deletion by going to the folder and choosing Undo Submit for Deletion from the State dropdown.

Note: Requesting to delete a folder that contains published items will delete the items, too. If you submit a request to delete a folder with contained items, you will be contacted by the Web Team to discuss your request.
