Summer Magnet and Intermediate K3+ Programs

Who can sign up? This program is for all current students of APS Elementary Schools who have:

  • scored lower than proficient on the spring and fall 2012 DBA and the winter 2013 DBA
  • insufficiently passed core math/reading assessments and have a teacher recommendation

During the March parent / teacher conference parents were asked to sign a Parent Consent Form to place their child in Summer Programs 2013.

Comanche ES Cafeteria

Due to limited locations and space availability this year, elementary sites are limited to 2 or 3 students per grade level per home school site or 10 – 15 students per home school site to send to their summer school location.  Please check with your home school site for student eligibility.

Students in 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade who are recommended by their teacher as needing improvement in math or reading literacy may attend a summer Magnet School.

3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students who attend school during the regular school year at a K3+ site will attend the intervention program offered at their school (see K3+ sites listed below).

Contact your school for information on schedules and locations.
