Public and charter school students in New Mexico take lots of tests during their school years. These include the New Mexico Standards Based Assessment (SBA) as well as End of Course exams that are now required for students in kindergarten through 12th grade.

Changing testing requirements have parents and teachers alike asking questions.

  • What tests do students have to take this year?
  • When do they take them?
  • What's at stake?
  • How are these tests tied to teacher evaluations?
