Get Covered APS! Medicaid Enrollment Event on Saturday, Nov 15th

Free health care event will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Washington Middle School administration building.

Enroll in Medicaid or get a certified health care guide that provides information on applying for Medicaid or insurance on New Mexico's Health Care Exchange. This free event will be held in the administration building at Washington Middle School from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, November 15, 2014. Washington Middle School is located at 1101 Park Ave SW (map).

This event will also include free food, drinks,and activities for children!

Hourly drawings for prizes will be given to families who fully enroll (while supplies last)!

“Because health-related issues can be barriers to learning, APS is working on ways for students and families to be healthier,” said Brian Bolding, Medicaid enrollment coordinator in the APS Student, Family, and Community Supports Division. “We at APS believe that a healthier student is a more successful student.”

To Make Enrollment Faster...

Individuals wanting to enroll may want to bring: proof of citizenship, tribal status or immigration status (such as social security number, birth certificate, etc.), picture ID, proof of residency, proof of income, proof of household size, and any current insurance information and/or recent unpaid medical bills (if any).

Many non-citizens may be eligible! Please join us and find out!

Albuquerque Public Schools joined with Youth Development Inc., Health Action New Mexico, PB&J Family Services, Southwest Women's Law Center, and New Mexico Center on Law and Poverty for this Medicaid Enrollment Event.
