Teri Coker, McCollum ES

Teri Coker started in APS in 1987 as an adapted physical education teacher in the north area of Albuquerque. In January 1990, she moved to McCollum Elementary as the APE Teacher. During that time she coached Challenger Little League and a Unified Sports Swim team.

In 1997, she went to Jackson Middle School to teach general education PE. She also coached basketball, volleyball, and track. She returned to McCollum in 2001 as the general education PE teacher.

Her promptness to start PE during the first week of the school year and end PE close to the very day of school has been appreciated by the staff and students as well as her fun games and activities she provides for her students.

Teri would like to invite all of her colleagues and friends to her joint retirement party on May 16, 2014 at 3:30 in the cafeteria at McCollum.
