Retirement: Wesa Ramsey

Wesa Ramsey is retiring after 33 years in the New Mexico school system.  Her first teaching job was in Albuquerque at Buena Vista, a school for students with developmental disabilities.  She then worked for the Taos Municipal School District and the Espanola School District before returning to Albuquerque.  Upon returning to APS, she taught at Manzano  and Del Norte high schools in district programs for students with traumatic brain Injuries.  After working as a resource teacher for Strategic Professional Development and as a resource teacher with Transition Services, she joined the Special Education Learning Disabilities Unit as a math liaison.

There will be a retirement celebration for Ramsey from 3-5 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at City Centre, 200W.
