Nancy Newburg, Educational Diagnostician

Nancy Newburg, an educational diagnostician for APS is retiring after 46 years. Nancy has served as an educational diagnostician and school psychologist; art and math teacher; special education teacher for ED & SLD students; and a behavior management specialist. She has worked in New Mexico, Illinois, Missouri, Texas, Utah, Ohio and Louisiana. She also worked for a Department of Defense school in Germany; Children’s Psychiatric Hospital in Albuquerque; and the Cooperative Educational Services in Belen,Santa Fe and Jemez.

Her hobby is gardening.

Nancy's retirement party will be from 1-3 p.m. on May 30 at the Northeast Diagnostic Center, 9500 Lexington Ave., N.E.
