Mike Montano, Alamosa ES

Mike Montano, a teacher at Alamosa Elementary School, is retiring after 20 years with APS and the Los Lunas Schools.

Mr. Montano started as an APE teacher for the Los Lunas School District. He taught grades first through 12th. Later he taught second to fifth grade as an ESL teacher at Ann Parish Elementary School.

In the fall of 1999, Mr. Montano was hired by APS as a second-grade teacher at Duranes Elementary School. Later,  Mr. Montano finished his career as a third-grade teacher at Alamosa Elementary School.
