Michael S. Herrera, McKinley MS

Michael S. Herrera has taught in APS for the past 30 years.

He began in APS as the assistant band director at Del Norte High School in 1979. He taught at Barcelona, Mountain View, Montgomery, Governor Bent, Arroyo del Oso, San Antonito and A. Montoya elementary schools during the 1981-1982 school year. He then spent nine years teaching at Hayes Middle School and the next four years at Harrison Middle School.

Mr. Herrera has spent the majority of his teaching career, the past 14 years, teaching at McKinley Middle School. We want to thank Mr. Herrera for his 30 years of service to APS and all the students that he has taught over the years.

There will be an Open House reception hosted at McKinley Middle School from 3:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, in the library.
