Mary Manchester, Sombra del Monte ES

Mary Manchester is retiring after 30 years as a speech-language pathologist with APS.

She began her career in 1981 at Rio Grande High School. Preferring to work with younger children, she moved to Bandelier and then Comanche elementary schools.

Mary worked in the pre-school program at E.G. Ross for two years before returning to elementary school. She spent one year at Monte Vista and then transferred to Sombra del Monte where she has worked for the past 18 years.

Ms. Manchester is looking forward to more time with her husband Dave, and their garden, longer walks with their dogs, trips to visit family outside of June and July, reading, sewing, writing, painting, and things yet unknown.  She anticipates with joy, the novelty of eating breakfast sitting down.
