Linda McIlwain, John Baker ES

Linda McIlwain, a second grade teacher at John Baker Elementary, has decided to retire at the end of this school year. Her teaching career has spanned more than 30 years.

The staff at John Baker wants to thank Mrs. McIlwain for 25 years of teaching, supporting and encouraging APS children. In addition, she taught two years in a New Mexico private school and three years in a public school in Indiana. 

She will be missed. In retirement, McIlwain plans to spent time with her precious grandchildren. 

Her retirement party will be from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, at John Baker Elementary, 12015 Tivoli NE, Suite B. Friends, family, and co-workers are invited to wish her the best.
