Kristin Kinney, Northwest Diagnostic Center

Prior to working with APS, Kris taught special education in North Dakota, in Utah while getting her master’s degree, and in Montana. She moved to Santa Fe and taught special education for three years.

Upon moving to Albuquerque, she taught special education preschool while obtaining her educational diagnostician’s license. She has been an educational diagnostician since 1993 with APS at Stronghurst Complex, Sierra Vista Elementary, Seven Bar Elementary and most recently at Northwest Diagnostic Center.

During her career, Kris supervised numerous classes of diagnostic interns. In retirement, she looks forward to spending more time with leisure activities of book club, bridge, gardening, and crafts. She will also spend time tutoring students with dyslexia and time enjoying her pets.

Please join us at Northwest Diagnostic Center to celebrate Kris’s career on May 26 at Northwest Diagnostic Center, 6450 Western Trail Dr. NW), in Portable 17 at 2 p.m.
