Kathy Burnett, McCollum ES

Kathy Burnett is retiring from APS after 21 years working as a physical therapy assistant. She has spent the last 18 years at McCollum Elementary School and the first three years serving the South Valley schools.

Kathy has felt blessed working with such wonderful co-workers over the years, and says she has enjoyed all the children she was able to serve.

Kathy plans on spending more time with her family here in Albuquerque but also will be busy taking on more responsibility to assist her aging parents in California. She is also interested in having more time to explore her outside hobby of gardening in which she is planning on taking a master gardening class. A retirement celebration for Kathy will be held 3:30 on Friday, May 16 at McCollum.
