Julie Wray, North Star ES

Julie Wray is retiring from the North Star library after 16 years in education. She began her career as a 4th and 5th-grade teacher at Hubert Humphrey Elementary school.

One of her career highlights was genre-fying the North Star library, making it much more user-friendly and increasing book circulation. She has enjoyed sharing her experience with librarians throughout the state and book sellers across the country.

Julie’s plans after retirement are to “do whatever I want to do, living alarm-clock free!”
