Judy Dorsett, McCollum ES

Judy Dorsett is retiring after 43 years of working in kindergarten classrooms. She spent three years at La Mesa Elementary School, three years at Mark Twain Elementary School, and 37 years at McCollum Elementary School.

Ms. Dorsett has devoted her career to helping young children read, write, and learn the necessary skills for kindergarten, as well helping students become responsible, caring, respectful individuals. She has shared her expertise with countless teachers, parents, and administrators.

Ms. Dorsett is planning to volunteer in kindergarten classes. She also plans to travel, eat lobster, and garden. She will be greatly missed by her students, parents, and the McCollum staff.
