Janice Barreras

Janice Barreras is retiring on Jan. 31 with 34.75 years in the district. She taught special education at Cibola, Del Norte and Manzano high schools. She became a diagnostician, working at West Region, numerous schools and most recently at the Chaparral Diagnostic Unit. Janice also served as the diagnostician union’s representative for many years. A celebration for her will be at Petroglyph Elementary at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9.  Everyone who has worked with her is invited to attend.  For more information, call Gina Encee at 898-1447.
