Ilene Jayne, Tomasita ES

— filed under:

May 2, 2012

Ilene Jayne has had a long and fulfilling career with Albuquerque Public Schools. She started her teaching career in 1985. She spent her years working at Montezuma, Emerson and Tomasita elementary schools. She has been at Tomasita for the past 15 years.

Mrs. Jayne is a very caring and nurturing individual who has incredible knowledge and compassion for teaching students. We will miss her thoughtfulness and words of advice immensely.

The staff at Tomasita Elementary School would like to thank Mrs. Jayne for her 15 years of service in working with the students, staff and the community. She will be greatly missed. There will be a retirement party celebrating her achievements and years of service to APS at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, in the Tomasita library. All are welcome to attend.
