Estalla Creel, Acoma ES

For 28 years, Estella Creel has been connected to Acoma ES as a parent of four children, as PTA president, and as a clerk for the last 18 years. Many changes have happened since the first day she stepped onto campus to the last day leaving after retirement.

Estella served on the hiring committee for Acoma Principal Joni Hagemeyer in 1988. She is extremely proud she was able to commit so much of her time and energy for the families of Acoma.

She will spend her retirement volunteering with several programs dear to her heart like domestic travel with her husband of 34 years, her church, and as an animal lover working with the Animal Humane Society and for the military volunteering for Paws and Stripes. Estella is looking forward to giving back to her community.

"Thank you APS for a wonderful place to send her children and a wonderful place at Acoma Elementary School to be employed," she said.
