Donna Thompson, Los Ranchos ES

— filed under:

April 19, 2012

Donna Thompson is retiring from Los Ranchos Elementary. She has been with APS for 18 years but has taught for 47 years. In the years prior to teaching in New Mexico she worked in Ohio; Colorado; Udorn, Thailand; and in Germany. In 1994, she began working for APS at Van Buren Middle School as a physical science and social studies teacher.

Donna worked at the University of New Mexico to support secondary teachers before moving on to the job she loved the most, instructional coach for Lowell Elementary and, later, Los Ranchos. Donna always sought to make teachers and students her priority and supported the schools she worked for to move them forward.
